PROFILE SOUGHT
- Qualified teacher with experience in a school setting, who values child-centred education.
- A broad and adaptable understanding of curriculum needs for children aged 6 to 11, across all learning areas.
- Comfortable working in small, mixed-age classes and supporting multi-level learning.
- Training or experience in alternative pedagogies (Waldorf/Steiner experience is an asset, but not required).
- Genuine interest in nature-based learning and sensitivity to environmental and ecological values.
- A reflective and proactive attitude, with openness to initiative, collaboration and ongoing professional development.
- Well-organised, reliable and autonomous, with flexibility and a collaborative spirit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and support elementary classes (children aged 6–11), offering a rich variety of learning experiences that support the children’s development and meet end-of-cycle learning objectives of the national education system.
- Foster autonomy, cooperation, self-confidence and healthy social relationships, encouraging children to become active participants in their own learning journey.
- Design and lead nature-based and experiential activities connected to the rhythm of the school and the seasons.
- Take an active role in school life, including school events, parent meetings, team collaborations and pedagogical reflections.
- Cultivate a warm and respectful classroom atmosphere, using listening, mediation and thoughtful problem-solving.
- Observe, document and share children’s progress in a clear and meaningful way, (progress reports).
